David Dzotse aka Dzotse was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. From an early age, Dzotse began to create melodies on the piano and immersed himself in Georgian folk, opera, ballet, classical music, and Jazz.
In 2006 Dzotse moved to study at Masaryk University in Brno, Czechia. It was there that he met with filmmakers David West and Adam Kubik. There he began to collaborate on multiple music and film projects and was introduced to the world of sound design, video editing and electronic music.
In 2011 Dzotse moved to Prague to continue to work sound design, dialogue recording, and video editing as well as acting. Since then he has been a part of multiple feature films, a plethora of short films.
In 2015, Dzotse studied in Los Angeles at Dubspot Music Academy.
In 2019 he directed his first short documentary Object in Space about Georgian artist, painter of frescoes, illustrator and author Levan Tsutskiridze.
He’s currently working on multiple film and music projects and living in Prague, Czechia.
